Part of what the Bancroft Theatre Guild does is welcome novice members as they work to create live theatre. And some of the more interesting performances during the varied selection of short plays came from those who were making their stage debut.
While more experienced actors like Gail Manion carried their troupes through the comedic works, the newer Guild members like Gail Burstyn and Tyler Bay gave strong performances showing a natural ability to act, react and use natural timing with their delivery.
Strong performances were also given by Andris Taurins who played a charming computer geek and Sharon Rattle, who made an excellent case for not wanting to share the spotlight with her husband.
