Don’t miss the Christmas art and craft show

Although it may not yet look like winter and Christmas are coming they are and so is the annual Christmas Art and Craft Show and Sale. The show is being held once again at the Bancroft Legion on Nov. 21 and 22 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on the Saturday and 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on the Sunday.
This is a wonderful opportunity to find that special handmade gift for all the people on your Christmas list.
We have chosen local and regional artists and craftspeople to take part in our show, and all of them are happy to share with you all that went into the making of each and every piece. It is so nice to be able to buy Canadian made, and support Canadians who have chosen to live in the beautiful Bancroft and surrounding areas of Ontario.
You’ll be able to find all kinds of things to buy, ranging from art for your walls, cards, pottery, leathergoods, hats, knitted sweaters, mittens, woodwork, unique wooden salt and pepper mills, wonderful jewelry, Christmas decorations, handmade toiletries, and the list goes on.
There will be refreshments available alongside wonderful homemade food and goodies, while you take a break to decide what to buy for all those on your list.
So make it a point to mark these dates on your calendar and take a little time to drop in – it’s free admission – and thank you for helping to support and encourage new and existing self-employed artisans in our area. Submitted
