Fun times at Bird’s Creek PS

Last week, blessed with gorgeous weather, Bird’s Creek Public School held its annual Fun Fair. Organized by the parents on the School Council, the event’s purpose is to raise money for student activities – especially school trips and sports. In the course of the evening, over 200 visitors enjoyed the barbecue as they took part in various games and tried their luck at raffles, a 50/50 draw, and a silent auction. For the youngest, there was face-painting, plus cotton candy for kids of all ages. Once again, the proverbial good times were had by all. Photos by Melissa Armstrong
