Fay Brown, who used to work for the Municipality of Hastings Highlands before her retirement, will serve as acting treasurer.  Like Davidson (who previously had served as treasurer and CAO of Hastings Highlands), Brown will serve under a contract of employment. Mayor Bernice Jenkins advised that Bancroft will advertise for a full-time staff position as treasurer in the near future.  Other than that, she had no comment on the abrupt departure of Davidson, other than to wish him well.
