Businesses to stay open late for Maynooth Madness

Main street Maynooth will be open extended hours till 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 27 as part of the third annual Moonlight Madness.
The evening kicks off with a spaghetti and meatballs dinner at the old Community Centre prepared by Chris Hass and Tracy Hagar. Admission is $12 per person and $6 for 12 and under.

Dessert is included. Proceeds raised will go to the children’s activities at next year’s Maynooth Madness Labour Day weekend.

Doors open at 5:30 and dinner is served until 7 p.m. Organizers are inviting anyone who would like to sing Christmas carols on the main street after dinner to meet at the old community centre at 6:30 p.m.

Participating businesses are the Potter’s Studio, the Madawaska Art Shop, Maynooth Gas, the Maynooth General Store, the Arlington, the Maynooth Diner, Hastings Highlands Library, the Old Peterson Road Gallery, the LCBO, Wildewood Gallery, SunRun Pantry, Toadestone Craftworks and FoxFire. Each business will be offering discounts or specials just for this evening. Santa will be in the library for photographs with your kids.

The evening ends (or begins) at 9:30 p.m. with musician Ian Tamblyn playing the Arlington. $10 cover.
