Held since 2017, it was another successful evening, with a lot of the community showing up to drop off toys and dozens of children and their families got photos with Santa. Andrew Baxter is the social media and events coordinator with Boyer GM and says that they largely supplied the toys and the community brought a few toys and mostly food. “The event went well. There were upwards of 200 people there. As far as individual families we had close to 50 but several families had anywhere from three to six family members in attendance. The winning ticket of the Silverado EV RIDE ON remote vehicle for kids was drawn yesterday. The winning ticket number has been posted to our social media. One ticket was given out for every item donated. Santa was also a big hit at the event,” he says. The winner of the Silverado EV kids' ride was Melanie Burnett and Boyer GM posted on their Facebook on Dec. 12 that it looked like someone was going to have a Merry Christmas surprise. “Thank you to everyone who donated and took part in this year's giveaway. Your generosity made the season brighter for our community,” they said. Ryan Courtney is the general manager at Boyer GM and told Bancroft This Week that this is truly their favourite day of the year. “Our staff looks forward to it, and we absolutely love seeing the children come through our doors. Each year, we personally donate roughly $2,500 to the toy drive, and many of our team members bring in toys as well. This event is completely free. We know that most Santa pictures come with a cost, and the holiday season can already be challenging for many families. Being able to offer a place where kids can enjoy coloring, treats, and a visit with Santa at no charge is something that brings us genuine joy,” he says. “Watching the smiles, the excitement, and the magic of the moment is something you simply can't help but love.” --------------------------------------------------- Images: --------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- Post date: 2025-12-16 17:42:04 Post date GMT: 2025-12-16 22:42:04 Post modified date: 2025-12-16 17:42:08 Post modified date GMT: 2025-12-16 22:42:08 ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Export of Post and Page as text file has been powered by [ Universal Post Manager ] plugin from www.gconverters.com
