The government of Ontario is providing $175 million in 2016-'17 to 135 hospitals across the province. QHC will receive $1.3 million for Belleville General Hospital (BGH) and Trenton Memorial Hospital (TMH). The funding was allocated to Ontario hospitals to support crucial infrastructure projects needed to keep hospitals running longer. Projects include upgrades or replacements of roofs, windows, HVAC systems, fire alarms and back-up generatiors. It will support upgrades in BGH departments, and go towards replacing the roof at TMH. Ontario is also designating over $4.3 million of the funding The Hospital for Sick Children.
