Energy efficiency almost cost me

To the Editor,
Over the past year or two we have taken seriously the need to become more considerate of the environment and how one can do his or her part to assist. Our actions have also been better for the pocketbook as well. We increased the exterior wall insulation, put in new windows and did some caulking in those places that are not so hard to find when you try a bit.
A recent call to top up the propane tank caught me off guard when I asked for the price and I questioned it. Our past supplier told me that you have not used much fuel lately. Then the next price offered was 10 cents a unit cheaper.
It would appear that some propane suppliers will have you pay more for burning less. You folks with fuel efficient vehicles had better watch out if these folks set up fueling lanes for the fuel savers.
