New CEO for CCNH

The board of directors of Community Care North Hastings (CCNH) would like to formally announce the retirement of executive director Gord MacDonald effective April 30. The board extends gratitude to MacDonald for 12 years of visionary leadership of CCNH, during which time social enterprises such as Foot Fix and TROUT public transportation were developed. The Board wishes Gord all the best in his future endeavours and thanks him for his commitment to the mission of CCNH – living healthy, being happy and staying connected!
After an intensive executive search process, the board would also like to announce the appointment of Heather Inwood-Montrose as the new chief executive officer of Community Care North Hastings. Inwood-Montrose holds a social service worker diploma and a certificate in adult education from Loyalist College and is currently completing the third year of a bachelor of professional arts in human services at Athabasca University. Inwood-Montrose is also a certified, registered and insured Hatha yoga instructor (CYA-RYT 250) and has particular interest in wellness related programming. Heather brings to CCNH over 10 years of expertise in business and program development and management, human resources management, mediation and adult education with a focus on collaborative project implementation.
Heather expresses excitement and openness to collaborating with local agencies, organizations, businesses and municipalities to continue offering programs and services which improve quality of life for residents within our communities, and is honoured to continue supporting the work of CCNH’s marvelous staff and volunteers at social enterprises including: The Heritage Shoppe, Heritage Home Furniture, Foot Fix, Coe Hill Thrift Shop, TROUT Public Transportation and TROUT Tours.
